Robert and Janice Hartz of Niles celebrated 50 years of marriage Feb. 4. The couple was married Feb. 4, 1960.

Janice is a retired clerk. Robert is a retired laborer.

The Hartzes have three children, Michael, Matthew and Trevor, and five grandchildren.

They will celebrate with a family dinner at a later date.
