The Dowagiac Middle School eighth grade Black team edged St. Joe Upton 22-21 Monday afternoon.

Hazel Kennedy led the Chieftains with six points, while Brittany O’Brien added four and Shelby Mast two.

The Orange team lost to the Bears 18-10. Mandria Hodges led the team with four points.

The seventh grade team lost to St. Joe 17-15. Leela Smith had six points and Cierra Smith four.
