Robert and Debra Meyer of Auburn Hills, Mich. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Meyer, to Branden Collins, son of Timothy and Tammara Collins of Buchanan.

Karen graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and minor in applied technology in business in 2008. She works as an external auditor in Detroit at the public accounting firm KPMG LLP.

Branden graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts degree in finance and a master of science degree in professional accounting in 2004. He works for General Motors as a CPA specializing in SEC Reporting.

The couple is planning a June 2010 wedding in Birmingham, Mich.
