KENDALLVILLE, Ind. – Former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz will speak at the Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet on April 22.
The Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce is planning this annual event to honor local businesses and promote the growth of business and industry within the community.
“Coach Holtz was deemed a perfect fit as our guest speaker because of his connection to northern Indiana and effectiveness as a motivational speaker for businesses facing adversity. His influence could be extremely beneficial to this area during these tough times.” Executive Director Anita Shepherd said.
The event’s highlight will be a speech from Lou Holtz titled the “Game Plan for Success.” There will also be a silent auction to allow all attendees an opportunity to bid on autographed memorabilia.
Several local businesses, such as Kraft Foods and the Hess team at Orizon Real Estate, have signed on to sponsor the annual banquet, though additional sponsorships are still available.
A VIP reception will be offered to major sponsors, allowing direct interaction with Lou Holtz and an autographed, framed picture with the coach. Holtz’s motivational speech could assist in creating a “winning drive” for all the efforts the community and Chamber are doing to get through these hard economic times.
Tickets to the annual banquet are limited and are available to purchase through the Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce’s web site, www.kendallvillechamber.com.
Tickets are $69 for members and $89 for non-members and will include access to the event, dinner and dessert.
The event will be held at the Kendallville Event Center. For more information visit the web site or call (260) 347-1554.
