Lauren Magyar of South Bend and Jathan Rose of Mooresvile, Ind. announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The couple will be married Aug. 14 at St. Mary’s Church, 219 S. State St., Niles.
Lauren’s parents Connie and Steve Magyar of South Bend.

Jathan’s parents are Melissa and David Leroy Rose of Mooresville.

Lauren’s maternal grandparents are Donna and Clark Carpenter of Niles. Her paternal grandparents are Julianna and Thomas Magyar of South Bend.

Jathan’s maternal grandparents are Dorthy Johnson and Billie Johnson of Mooresville.

The bride-to-be attended Indiana University. The groom-to-be is an undergraduate student at Ivy Tech.
