Robles

Amanda and Kevein Robles of Dowagiac are the parents of a son, Kaden, born Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces. The  Robles are also the parents of a son; Alfredo, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Frank Tuka of Dowagiac and Arla Tuka of  Decatur. Paternal grandparents are Luis Robles of Chicago, and Deborah Robles of Niles.

Maternal great-grandmother is Ruth Tuka of Angola, Indiana. Paternal great-grandparents are Robert and Evelyn Schmeltz of Dowagiac.

Quick/Shade

Ashley Quick/Kent Shade of Niles are the parents of a daughter, born Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces.

The Quick-Shades are also the parents of two daughters; Bailey, 6, and Cameron, 3.
Maternal grandparents are Greg and Verna Quick of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Sam and Carol Shade of St. Joseph/Niles.

Maternal great-grandparents are Bonnie and Bill Quick, and Bonnie and Max Wilken, both of Niles. Paternal great-grandparents are David and Patricia Wogent of Sodus Township, and Ken and Joan Rhody of Stravelsburg, Pennsylvania.

Cameron Cooper and Kristen Low of Niles are the parents of a son, Carson, born Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles. Carson weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Trent and Dawn Vaughn, and Christopher Low, both of Niles. Paternal grandfather is Dean Cooper of Niles.

Kirk

Bradford Kirk Jr. and Amanda Kirk of Niles are the parents of a daughter, born Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces.

The  Kirks are also the parents of two sons and two daughters; Clowey, 5, Lyndzy, 5, Samuel, 4, and Logan, 4.

Maternal grandparents are Rita Waltz and Mike Estep of Rochester, Ind. Paternal grandparents are Mary Viera and Brad Kirk, Sr. of Buchanan. Maternal great-grandparents are Jack and Anne Waltz of Rochester, Ind. Paternal great-grandparents are Larry and Sonia Kirk of Galien.
