Jason and Sarah Ropp of Buchanan are the parents of a son, born Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles. He weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces.

The Ropps are also the parents of three daughters; Brenna, age 8, Kelsey, age 7, and Autumn, 4.

Heather Fox and Marvin Hill Jr. of Dowagiac are the parents of a daughter, born Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles. She weighed 8 pounds and 11 ounces.

The Hills are also the parents of two sons; Marvin, age 4, and Xavier, age 1.

Maternal grandparents are Ann and Jeff Fox of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Carla and Marvin Hill Sr. of Dowagiac.

Baker/Walkden

Brittany Baker and Jacob Walkden of Galien are the parents of son, born Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, Labor Day, at Lakeland-Niles. Isaiah Walkden weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Emily Harrison and Andrew Quint of Galien. Paternal grandparents are Stephien Goodman of Buchanan, and Richard Walkden of Galien.

Maternal great-grandparents are Betty Harrison of Illinois and Tim Sturling of Indiana.

Paternal great-grandparents are Rich Walkden and B. Faris of Niles.

Noringhang

Nome and Tya Noringhang are the parents of a son born on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at 1:32 a.m. at the US Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan.

Ethan James weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Glenn and Georgianna Smith of Cassopolis, Cindy Ferguson of Niles, and Silaphone Bounkhoun and Home Noringhang of Vandalia.

Ray and Pam Roberts of Niles are the parents of a son born on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Lakeland-Niles.
