Brandywine’s first day is on Sept. 8

Brandywine Community Schools first day of school for all students grades K through 12 will be on Tuesday, Sept. 8, with a regular full-day schedule for grades seventh through 12, and a half day for grades Kindergarten through sixth.

Orientation for seventh grade will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. in the Brandywine Middle/Senior High School Cafeteria/Gym.

All new enrollees should bring a copy of their immunization record, birth certificate, and proof of residency when enrolling. Students must meet current Michigan Department of Health immunization requirements before they begin school.

Eighth Grade Students will pick up schedules the first day of school in the John Carlson Lecture Hall. Schedules will be mailed to students in grades 9 through 12. Students in grade seven will receive their class schedule at Orientation, Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Alternative and Adult Education Classes

Enrollment is taking place daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Bell Education Alternative/Adult Education Program Office, 1830 S. Third St., Niles.
Start date: Alternative and Adult Education Classes will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Classes are Monday through Friday.
Child care services are provided for participating students only, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.
