Niles All-Stars rout Vicksburg 27-2

The Niles All-Stars ripped visiting Vicksburg Wednesday night 27-2 in Michigan District 15 Little League Junior Baseball Division action.
Niles will now advance to Saturday’s game against Three Rivers in Schoolcraft.
Three Rivers was a 5-3 winner over Mendon in the opening game at Thomas Stadium.
Chris Mangus did most of the offensive damage as he had two singles, two doubles and six RBIs. Mangus also tossed a complete game four-hitter with nine strikeouts.
Evan Hartman was equally devastating at the plate as he had three singles, a double and five RBIs. Niles also got a single and three RBIs from Alec Landon, along with a single, a double and two RBIs from Jordan Griffin.
Ben Getz chipped in with two singles and three RBIs, while Matt Schiele added two hits and a RBI. Alex Erwin had a triple and two RBIs and Dakota McDonald had a double and a RBI.
In other Junior Baseball action Wednesday night, Constantine-Centreville defeated White Pigeon 5-4; in Major Baseball, Dowagiac edged Mattawan 4-3, Three Rivers defeated Centreville 5-2 and Decatur edged Vicksburg 7-5.
In 9-10 baseball, Vicksbsurg Red blew out Schoolcraft 12-2 and Paw Paw defeated Constantine 11-6.
Tonight, Niles will take on Marcellus in 9-10 Baseball in Mattawan, whiles Niles will host Mendon in Major Baseball at 8 p.m. The first game will pit Coldwater against Paw Paw at 6.
