Former Dowagiac resident Glenyce Piper of 66175 Hess Road, Edwardsburg, is engaged to be married at 3:30 p.m. April 4, 2009, at Hope United Methodist Church, Edwardsburg, to Jason Bentzer, also of Edwardsburg.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan G. Piper of 52045 Townhall Road, Dowagiac, and the late James C. Piper.
She graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 1999, from Southwestern Michigan College in 2001 and from Western Michigan University in 2006. She is employed by Midwest Energy Cooperative.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Karl and Debra Bentzer of 26601 May St., Edwardsburg.
Mr. Bentzer graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 1998 and received his apprenticeship certificate in mold making. He is employed at Bentzer Inc.
