Britnee Allerton and Brandon Douglas have been named the Leader Publications Athletes of the Week for the Dowagiac Daily News.
Allerton scored 21 points to help lead the Chieftain girls' basketball team to a 62-32 win over Vicksburg.
Douglas netted 20 points as Dowagiac defeated Three Rivers for its first win of the season.
