EDWARDSBURG – A Vandalia driver was injured Saturday afternoon when a swan went through the windshield of his pickup truck.
Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg Police Department said Merle Keith Ramsey of Mulberry, Vandalia, was westbound on U.S. 12, 750 feet east of Adamsville Road, at 2:14 p.m. Dec. 13 when the swan flew into the black 1988 GMC truck.
Edwardsburg ambulance was called to check out head injuries to the driver, but police said he refused their service.
Ali Lynn Scott of Day Lake Road, Cassopolis, was a passenger in the truck.
