SCHOOLCRAFT – The Buchanan wrestling team split a pair of non-conference matches on Wednesday night at Schoolcraft.
The Bucks defeated Bloomingdale 60-16, but lost to the host Eagles 36-33.
Winning matches for the Bucks against Bloomingdale, which gave up seven forfeits, were Justin Fuller (pin), Adam Byrdak (pin), David Ferris (pin) and Jacob Ferris (pin).
Picking up the forfeits were Jacob Hurd, Andy Ketchum, Drew Medlin, Tony Taylor, Bryant Miller, Mike Connors and Robert Riggs.
Against Schoolcraft, the Bucks earned wins from Hurd (pin), Taylor Glavin (forfeit), Medlin (decision), Byrdak (decision), David Ferris (decision), Connors (pin) and Riggs (pin).
