4 p.m. Miss Heart of Blossomtime (seven contestants) and Miss Teen Blossomtime (32 contestants) pageants at Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center. Doors open to the public at 3:30. The masquerade setting for the "Phantom of the Opera" continues the Broadway theme of other community pageants. Tickets cost $12.
Tuesday, Dec. 2
6 p.m. – National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, Southwest Michigan Chapter, annual holiday party (buffet dinner is $12/person) at St. Joseph Elks Lodge.
