Mr. and Mrs. James Hart of Decatur are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Anya Michelle, to John Joseph Richey, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Richey of Decatur.
The marriage will take place at Volinia Baptist Church on Oct. 25, 2008.
The bride-to-be has been a lifeguard for five years at the Lake of the Woods Beach in Decatur.
The groom is a carpenter and owns the John J. Richey Roofing Co.
After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Vandalia.
