Four month investigation results in seven arrests

NILES – A four-month investigation into illegal narcotic sales has resulted in the arrest of seven suspects and has consisted of over 40 controlled purchases of illegal narcotics, according to the Niles City Police Department.
The investigation began in August of this year after several citizen complaints about narcotic sales on the street corners. During the arrests of the suspects, a search warrant was served on a home located on North Sixth Street and another home was searched on Vine Street.
Marijuana, cocaine, money, four vehicles, one firearm and other items were seized as a result of these searches. Suspects were arrested on warrants and taken into custody. The arrest teams were assisted by the Michigan State Police.
Suspects arrested include: Shauntay Wade of South Fifth Street. Charged with four counts of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense. His bond is set at $100,000. Wade was arraigned on Dec. 20.
Jeron Allen of Maple Street charged with one count of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense. His bond is set at $75,000. Allen was arraigned on Dec. 20.
Osker Eric Williams of Sycamore Street, charged with four counts of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense. His bond is set at $100,000.
Cordeleus Anthony Martin of N. Sixth Street, charged with seven counts of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense. Bond is set at $100,000.
Antwaun Michaels James of Vine Street, charged with one count of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine and two counts of Delivery/Manufacturing marijuana. His bond is set at $125,000.
Ikeith Jerome Jennings of Burton Street, Benton Harbor, charged with four counts of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense. Bond is set at $100,000.
Jerry Lamont Coleman of Taft Street, charged with two counts of Delivery/Manufacturing Cocaine. His bond is set at $75,000.
All suspects were taken into custody. Addition arrests and criminal charges are expected.
