NILES – The Niles Garden Club had their Christmas luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Orchard Hills County Club. After a short business meeting, Bobbie Quick did a Christmas arrangement demonstration for all members to do for Christmas. This was followed by lunch and a social hour.
This was the last meeting for the Niles Garden Club for 2007. The Club does not meet for the month of January and will be started again on Feb. 5, 2008, at the Niles District Library with a program of "pot-et-Fleur." Discover the many ways to add cut flowers to your house plants and provide a fresh new look. Lyn Butus and Bobbie Quick will be responsible for the program with refreshments at 12:30 p.m., a meeting at 1 and the program to follow at 2. Anyone interested in the Niles Garden Club is welcome.
