NILES – The Ring Lardner eighth grade Blue boys' basketball team avenged its lone loss of the season Wednesday afternoon with a 42-31 victory over Benton Harbor.
The Viking big men led the charge with a combined 26 points.
Myles Busby had 15 points for the Vikings, while Logan Harpenau added 10 points.
Matthew McLaughlin, Austin Parks and Taylor Campbell also played well for Ring Lardner.
Niles is now 4-1 on the season. The Vikings will host Elkhart Northside on Monday.
The Ring Lardner Gold squad dropped a heartbreaking 33-32 decision to Benton Harbor on Wednesday.
A balanced Niles attack was led by Martel Miller and Dylan Jankoviak, both of whom scored eight points.
Dallas Munger added six points.
Niles will travel to Elkhart Northside on Monday.
