Bobcat wrestlers go 1-4 at Vicksburg Invitational

VICKSBURG – The Brandywine varsity wrestling team opened up its season on Saturday by going 1-4 at the Vicksburg Invitational.
The Bobcats defeated Thornapple-Kellogg 54-28 for its lone victory.
Brandywine was defeated by Dowagiac (56-14), Mattawan (41-39), Three Rivers (51-28) and Vicksburg (54-30).
Ralph Sater and Joel Perry were both 5-0 for the Bobcats, while Chase Molica and Danny Eaglebarger were both 4-1.
Brandywine will hosts Covert, Kalamazoo Loy Norrix and Schoolcraft on Wednesday.
Wrestling is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
