NILES – Mark Calhoun, Madie Rodts and Samantha Brawley of Niles were all named to the Big 16 All-Conference squad, which was released recently.
Joining Calhoun on the boys' all-league squad were James Kirschner, Sam Felton and Collin Ludwig of St. Joseph; Shaun Slater, Taylor Williams, Sean Ohman and Lucas Adlam of Portage Northern; Jeff MacMillan, Matt Kuhn, Alex Standiford and Andrew Schoenfeld of Mattawan; and Taylor Polzin, Jay Marshall, Matt Huff and Kam Mills of Sturgis.
Also on the all-league team were Gerardo Torres and Sean Guzy of Coldwater; Tommy VanOosten of Battle Creek Lakeview; Brian Ritzer of Kalamazoo Central; and Andrew Darrell of Kalamazoo Loy Norrix.
Rodts and Brawley were joined on the girls' all-conference team by Ann Marie Arseneau, Alex Keyser and Mary Boyd of Sturgis; Amanda Balk and Haley Smith of Lakeshore; Danielle Hicks, Amanda Weaver and Jules Hinske of Marshall; Brittney McKague, Elley Hinkel and Hannah Robb of Mattawan; and Tina Walter of Portage Northern.
Also on the team are Amanda Weidner and Krystal Haver of Battle Creek Harper Creek; Nicole Krajwewski and Courtney Vostromer of Battle Creek Lakeview; Katie Martin and Courtney Havens of Portage Central; and Jana Graudins of Kalamazoo Loy Norrix.
