BUCHANAN – The Buchanan varsity volleyball team was defeated by River Valley in Lakeland Conference play Wednesday night.
The Lady Mustangs defeated the Lady Bucks 25-17, 29-31, 25-21 and 25-19.
Courtney Miller led Buchanan with 11 kills, 23 digs and four aces, while Emily Rose had 35 assists, 18 digs, seven kills and three aces.
The Lady Bucks also got 12 digs, seven aces and four kills from Jayme O'Bryant and nine kills and seven blocks from Anna Callahan.
Rachel Downs finished with 23 digs, while Jollene Boor had 13 digs, Taylor Henry five blocks and Rachel Briggs three blocks.
