The Bobcats finish fourth with the loss to the Shamrocks.
Matt Liebetrau scored his first goal of the year for the Bobcats.
"We were in the game all the way, they just converted their changes and we couldn't," Brandywine coach Jim McNamara said. "It's the story of our season. With the youth of the team, finishing fourth is quite an accomplishment. The best thing about these kids is they continue to get better as certain areas of the game each time out."
Liebetrau's goal came off a rebound on a shot taken by Travis Bakeman.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday as they face Marcellus.
Brandywine will host Buchanan in the opening round of the Division 3 District Tournament on Monday night at 7.
