Edward Voogd, 94, of Lewis Drive, Niles, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at his home, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Niles with the Rev. Carl W. Bassett officiating.
Committal services will follow at the graveside in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles and will conclude with full military honors by American Legion Post No. 26, Niles.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.
