Bobcat runners pick up wins over Coloma

COLOMA – The Brandywine boys' and girls' cross country teams were victorious against host Coloma on Monday afternoon in a Lakeland Conference meet.
The Bobcats won the boy's portion of the meet 25-30, while the Lady Bobcats won 27-28.
Tyler Weedon of Brandywine was the top finisher in the boy's race as he posted a time of 10:09. The Bobcats' Elliott Richards was fourth with a time of 20:34, while Aaron Sleiting of Brandywine was fifth with a time of 20:46.
Tom Buzzard and Samuel Gibson were seventh and eighth for the Bobcats with times of 23:07 and 31:16 respectively.
Brandywine's Ashley Harrell finished third overall to help lead the Lady Bobcats to victory.
Harrell ran a time of 24:01.
Nicole Newman finished fourth with a time of 28:04, while Kyle Sallsbury was fifth (29:22), Jordan Ferenczi sixth (29:50) and Bethany Fortner ninth (45:14).
