BUCHANAN – The Buchanan varsity volleyball team defeated River Valley to win its own Buck Classic title on Saturday.
Buchanan defeated New Buffalo, Brandywine, and River Valley in pool play and then defeated the Lady Bobcats in the semifinals, 22-25, 25-14 and 15-8.
Buchanan beat the Lady Mustangs in the finals, 25-18, 23-25 and 15-8.
Courtney Miller had 40 kills, four blocks and 59 digs for the Lady Bucks.
