Vick needs to grow up

There comes a time in everyone's life when it is time to grow up and start acting like an adult.
The time for that has come and gone for Michael Vick.
Here is a man with all the athletic talent in the world, but apparently he thinks that just because he is a professional athlete, he can get away with anything.
It has been interesting to watch people take sides in this matter.
There seems to be no middle ground when it comes to Vick. You are either in his corner despite him having pleaded guilty in an animal cruelty case or you are against him.
A lot of people want to make this out to be a black and white issue.
That is completely wrong. This is a right and wrong issue.
People want to candy coat what Vick did by saying it is a cultural thing.
Again, this is about right and wrong.
What Vick did was wrong, plain and simple.
Just when it looked as if Vick had finally figured out what he did was despicable, we find out that he tested positive for marijuana earlier this month.
Late in August, Vick stood before the cameras and talked about his situation and seemed to grasp the severity of it.
Boy did he have us fooled.
Yes, marijuana can stay in your system for a month or more. Some want to say that he could have used it prior to his statements in late August when he appeared to be full of remorse.
But the reality of it is, that even if he was "blazing" up a month ago that was still in the middle of his legal troubles.
No matter what your opinion is on marijuana, there is no excuse for Vick to be using the drug while he is being charged with a federal crime.
It just goes to show that Vicks still hasn't grown up and quite frankly, we don't know if he will ever actually act like an adult.
