NILES – The Children's Fun House has been closed.
The Niles Haunted House Board of Directors report Niles Township Building Inspector Jeff Dunlap and Fire Chief Gary Brovold inspected the Children's Fun House on Bell Road and determined the Fun House was out of compliance with current building codes.
In order to be up-to-date, the members would have to immediately install a sprinkler system, fire alarm panel and several additional items.
Operators of the Fun House have determined complying with the codes would be cost prohibitive.
