Lillian ‘Sue’ Yaw / 1944-2007

Lillian "Sue" Sue Yaw, 62 of Seventh Street in Niles, died at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, after a long battle with Huntington's Disease.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles, where her service will be held at noon.
She will be interred at the Riverview Cemetery in South Bend, Ind.
Yaw was born on Oct. 17, 1944, to the late Dennis and Lucinda Middaugh in Paw Paw. She was the youngest of two children.
On Dec. 5, 1964, she wed the love of her life, Virgil Yaw Jr. at a ceremony in Niles.
She spent her entire life taking care of her husband and her family and enjoyed every moment of it. She worked at Simplicity as a machine puller and folder for more than 26 years. She also proudly sold Avon for over 25 years.
Yaw was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Tresa Yaw.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil, of 42 years; a son Mark Yaw of Berrien Springs; a daughter, Marna (Paul) Smallmon of Niles; three grandchildren and a sister, Marilyn (Frank) Johnson of Bristol.
