THREE OAKS – The host Mustangs were a step quicker than Brandywine Monday night in their Lakeland Conference soccer match.
The result was a 4-0 victory for River Valley.
"They just outplayed us," Brandywine coach Jim McNamara said. "My kids are young and have to learn how hard they have to play. Don't get me wrong, they are very talented and will be a force to reckoned with in the future.
"It just wasn't their night. We were a step slow all night long," he added.
Brandywine is back in action on Saturday when they travel across town to take on arch rival Niles at noon.
