NILES – Wings Etc. is not for sale.
That's the message owner Jeremy Bayles wants to make as clear as possible.
"So many people have been questioning it and it's become a headache," Bayles said Friday.
That's because a for lease sign has been sitting in front of the Wings Etc. restaurant since last week and has left many questioning if the new popular Niles eatery is already folding over.
"The township and the company in charge of leasing the plaza said the sign had to go there for another building that is currently for sale. The problem is, the sign is sitting right in front of my building, so it looks like it is for sale," Bayles said.
Talk is that China Chef is for sale, as they will not be renewing their lease when it is up.
However, when contacted Friday, employees said they were not closing. Owners and the managers of the popular chinese restaurant were unavailable for comment.
"I just want people know that we are not closing. A lot of people think so and it's confusing, especially with that sign sitting right there in front," Bayles added.
