Post 204 eliminated from American Legion tournament

ST. JOSEPH – American Legion Post 204 wrapped up its season this past weekend at Riverview Park.
Three Oaks Post 204 won two district games, but was eliminated in the final game of the B bracket.
In Saturday's game against South Haven, Post 204 won 8-7.
Jay Magro picked up the win for Three Oaks and also had two doubles and a single. Matt Bolin also had two doubles and a single, while Andrew Mysliwec had three singles and D.J. Wolnik added two singles to the attack.
In Sunday's action against St. Joe post 163, Three Oaks claimed an 8-1 victory.
Ryan Narregan pitched a nine-inning complete game for Post 204 to earn the win. Jordan Topinka led the offense with four hits, including a double. Matt Bolin added a triple and Jack Early had two singles.
Three Oaks was eliminated in the nightcap by Stevensville Post 568, 9-5.
Mikie Simpson took the win on the mound for Stevensville. Zach Wasserman had two doubles and a single and Devon Bailey added three singles.
Connor Lejewski took the loss on the mound for Three Oaks. Zach Bloss led the hitting with a double and two singles. Wolnik, Topinka and Bolin each had two singles for Three Oaks.
