WATERFORD – This past weekend the Michigan Generals, Girls 16U Fastpitch travel softball team (based out of Monroe County) attended the Side-winders Shootout NSA Qualifier in Waterford.
The Generals went undefeated, 6-0 to win the tournament and secure their berth to the NSA Division A World Series in Rock Hill, South Carolina next week.
The championship game proved to be a battle of the bats against the Outlaws of Michigan with the Generals securing the victory with an 11-8 win.
Niles' Erica Gordon and Marcellus' Lindsay Norton are members of the team.
