Soccer league regular season winding down

NILES – The regular season of the Blossomland Soccer League is rapidly approaching completion.
Teams are currently jockeying for position as the post season nears.
Currently, Diamonds United and Real Dowagiac are tied atop the league standings with 25 points each.
The two teams also share identical 8-0-1 records.
The St. Joe Kickers are third with 22 points and a 7-1-1 record.
Diamonds United and the Kickers square off on Sunday at the Kickers Club in Arden. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
Real Dowagiac will be in action on Tuesday when it hosts Dura Mold FC at Southwestern Michigan College.
The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Whirlpool United (6-3-1) is fourth with 19 points, while P&R FC (6-3-0) is fifth with 18 points.
Dura Mold (5-4-0) is sixth with 15 points and the Tornados (4-4-1) seventh with 13 points.
Rounding out the standings are St. Stephens Villains (3-5-1), Niles R.A.P. (2-6-1), Dowagiac Dawgs (1-7-1), Berrien Springs Internationals (1-9-0) and Red Arrow Stampede (0-9-0).
