Season winding down

NILES – The Senior Division of the Greater Niles Little League is wrapping up its season this week at Thomas Stadium.
Picking up victories in recent games were the Royals, A's and Reds.
Tigers…1
Royals…3
Brad Ritchey tripled, while Derek Nichols, Eathan Mead and Ricky Briand all doubled to lead the Royals past the Tigers, 3-1.
Cody Udell was the winning pitcher, while Wayne Marazita took the loss.
Marazita and Aaron Grooms both had hits for the Tigers.

Tigers…3
Mead tripled and Nichols doubled as the Royals swept the Tigers with an 11-3 victory.
Tom Flynn was the winning pitcher, while Zeke Legus took the loss.
Legus, Marazita and Art Gaul all had hits for the Tigers.
Reds…3
A's…8
Tyler House had a pair of doubles as the A's topped the Reds 8-3.
DaShaun Curtis and Zack Edquist also doubled for the A's.
Tyler Knisely picked up the mound victory, while Dominique Pompey suffered the loss.
Jesse McCombs hit a home run for the Reds.

Will Coar doubled and picked up the victory as the Reds earned a split with a 10-1 win over the A's.
Taylor Ort added a triple for the winners.
Curtis, House, Cameron Sly and Justin Fredericks all had hits for the A's. Kevin Gross took the loss.

Royals…0
Dan Reidenbach tripled, while Ort, Pompey, McCombs, Anthony Gladden and Derrick Viganski all doubled as the Reds blanked the Royals, 9-0.
McCombs picked up the victory for the Reds, while Josh Eaves took the loss.
Flynn and Dave Schoenlebor each had a hit for the Royals.

Gladden tripled, while McCombs and A.J. Moore both doubled as the Reds completed the sweep with a 10-8 victory over the Royals.
Ort was the winning pitcher, while Ben Gerber suffered the loss for the Royals.
The Royals got doubles from Briand, Mead, Flynn and Udell.

Tigers…1
Nick Davis earned the mound victory as the A's defeated the Tigers 9-1.
House, Gross and Javier Smith all had singles for the A's.
Brendon Green, Marazita, Trevor Gray and Gaul all picked up hits for the Tigers.
Legus took the loss for the Tigers.

Knisely tossed a no-hitter as the A's blanked the Tigers, 9-0.
Sly homered for the winning team, which also got a double from Edquist.
Marazita took the loss for the Tigers.

Reds…1
Gross and Robert Wagner both doubled as the A's defeated the Reds 3-1.
Knisely picked up the mound victory, while Dan Reidenbach took the loss.
Reidenbach also had a double for the Reds.

The Reds earned a split against the A's as they posted a 10-2 victory.
Ort tripled, doubled and picked up the victory for the Reds, who also got doubles from Tyler Jackson and Pompey.
Davis had a triple for the A's. Curtis took the loss.
