Brandywine, Bucks dominate all-conference squad

NILES – Lakeland Conference champion Brandywine and runner-up Buchanan dominated the all-conference softball team.
The Lady Bobcats and Lady Bucks landed three players apiece on the first team.
Named to the squad were Kendra Zache, Angela Newman and Lauren McCombs of Brandywine and Emily Ross, Ashley Pointer and Jayme O'Bryant of Buchanan.
Also picked for the first team were Nikitas Nelson and Nicole Green of Cassopolis, Lindsey Hauch and Andrea Balsis of Coloma, Raechel Zahrn of Berrien Springs and Kristin Toney of Edwardsburg.
Cassopolis' Randy Brooks was named Coach of the Year.
