John W. Derbyshire, 86, of DeWitt, formerly of Norwood Drive, Niles, died at 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at his daughter's home in DeWitt, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles, with the Rev. Dr. Ronald H. Wakeman of the First Presbyterian Church in Niles officiating. Burial will follow at the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles, where military honors will take place.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in the memory of John W. Derbyshire may be made to the donor's choice.
