PRINCIPALS' WEEK, FEB. 11 THROUGH FEB. 17
The success and prosperity of our nation depends on the quality of education our children receive from elementary through high school. The principal is the instructional leader in each building and is a key factor in effective and productive learning in the classroom.
The principal's leadership skills and abilities directly affect the quality of instruction for every student. These professionals not only direct the activities within their school, but also act as the liaison between the school and the Brandywine community, ensuring that parents and taxpayers are aware of the school's undertakings and achievements.
Principals' Week is dedicated to recognizing the significant contributions of Michigan school principals to their schools and to the education of our youth. Please join us in supporting the outstanding efforts of our principals, Karen Weimer, Tim Bagby and Greg Jones.
FOOD SERVICE APPRECIATION WEEK
Caring. Trained. Thoughtful. Professional. Dedicated. These are just a few words that describe today's child nutrition professionals. Our food service staff plays such an important role in the Brandywine Community School District.
The school food service staff contributes significantly to the health and well being of children by providing nutritious meals. This effort impacts positively on the ability of students to learn.
This week, Feb. 5 through Feb. 9 has been designated Child Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week. Please take a moment to say "thank you" to our food service staff, and let them know how much we appreciate the care that goes into each meal!
TRIMESTER SCHEDULE INFORMATION MEETING
Brandywine Senior High School is contemplating making the transition from the current block schedule to a trimester schedule.
