Athletic events rescheduled after being postponed

NILES – The recent cold blast and lake effect snow caused a number of school's to close or be delayed throughout the past week.
Due to the cancellations, many athletic events had to be postponed.
The Brandywine and Buchanan basketball game, which was supposed to take place Tuesday night, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27. Freshmen will begin at 4:15p.m., junior varsity at 5:45 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m. The game will take place at Buchanan High School.
The Bucks were supposed to face Cassopolis for a Lakeland Conference basketball game on Jan. 30, but that game has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 22 in Cassopolis.
The Brandywine and Bridgman basketball teams will play on Feb. 16. That game was originally set for Feb. 2.
Niles' basketball teams were supposed to face Mattawan last Friday night, and that game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Mattawan. Freshmen will begin at 4:15, with JV and varsity following.
The Buchanan and Brandywine wrestling match, originally scheduled for Feb. 21, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8.
Niles and Coloma were scheduled to meet on the volleyball court on Monday, Feb. 5. That game will not be rescheduled.
