Bridgman swimming and diving fifth at Loy Norrix

NILES – The Bridgman Co-Op swimming and diving team finished fifth out of eight teams at the Kalamazoo Loy Norrix Invitational Saturday.
Portage Northern won the meet with 262 points, followed by Byron Center with 256, Wayland with 227, Loy Norrix with 215 and Bridgman with 168. Allegan and Thornapple-Kellogg-Hastings rounded out the field with 159 and 108 points respectively.
The Bridgman Co-Op team will travel to Sturgis for a Jan. 16 dual meet with the Trojans. The next home meet will be Thursday, Jan. 18 against Mattawan-Hackett at 6 p.m.

200 yard Medley Relay – Matt Bizoe, Ty Alexander, Alex Ottusch and Cory Schiller (fifth place, 1:56.67)
