Cal Ripken announces new Division for 2007 season

NILES – The Brandywine Cal Ripken Youth Baseball League is busy preparing for the 2007 baseball season.
The league is excited to announce a new T-Ball division. The various divisions that Brandywine Cal Ripken will now offer are as follows:
T-Ball Division for children ages 4, 5 and 6 (6-year-olds have the option to play in either the T-Ball division or Rookie Division, decision needs to be made at sign-ups) provide basic baseball fundamentals in a non-competitive environment.
Rookie Division for children ages 6, 7 and 8 (6-year-olds have the option to play in either the T-Ball division or Rookie Division, decision needs to be made at sign-ups) provide basic baseball fundamentals and the children experience machine pitch baseball.
Minor Division for children ages 9 and 10 provide intermediate baseball fundamentals and the children experience live-pitch baseball.
Major Division for children ages 11 and 12 provide advanced baseball fundamentals and the children experience live-pitch baseball.
All ages are based on being the above ages on or before April 30, 2007. T-Ball coaches are needed, if interested contact Angie Searles at 684-6862.
