Bobcats pick up first win Friday against River Valley

NILES – The Brandywine varsity basketball team picked up its first win of the season Friday night against River Valley, posting a 58-45 Lakeland Conference victory.
Noah Udell had a slam dunk for the Bobcats and ended with five points on the night. Caleb Frazier led all scorers with 19 points, Josh Benjamin had nine and Billy McDonald added seven.
For the Mustangs, Nick Swords had 15 points, while John Jackson had nine.
Brandywine will hit the floor on Tuesday when it hosts Buchanan for another Lakeland Conference match up.
