DOWAGIAC - The Third Annual Chieftain Golf Outing is approaching fast. The Athletic Booster Club and the Dowagiac Union Schools Foundation are once again teaming up for this annual fundraiser, which benefits both the students and the athletes in the Dowagiac school system. The outing will be held at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course on Thursday, June 15, with a noon shotgun start.
Teams will be competing in a four-man best-ball scramble so golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate, have fun, and support these two worthwhile groups. The registration fee is $100 (individual) or $400 (team). Individual golfers can register and will be placed on a team.
Sponsorships are still being accepted also. Levels include gold ($1000 includes a team), silver ($500) and bronze ($100). Businesses can also donate merchandise or gift certificates for prizes.
