Ernest "Ernie" D. Carpenter, 84, of Dowagiac, died on Thursday, April 6, surrounded by his family at his home.
His funeral will be held on Monday, April 10 at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Bible Church led by his pastor, the Reverend Robert Vickroy. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
His family will meet friends on Saturday, April 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday April 9, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Groner Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Dowagiac.
Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Calvary Bible Church.
