BENTON HARBOR - Michigan Works! recently closed its Niles Service Center on Michigan Avenue in order to find a new and improved facility in which to provide services to employers and job seekers in Southern Berrien County.
The closure was temporary and they will be moving to a new facility by mid-May.
The new location will be: 400 E. Front St. Suite B, in Buchanan.
The office is located near US-12 and the US-31 bypass. It will be co-located with several businesses. Michigan Works! Berrien-Cass-Van Buren provides employment services to businesses and jobseekers through Service Centers in Benton Harbor, Dowagiac, Paw Paw, and will soon resume in Buchanan. They are currently looking for a new office location in South Haven.
