Bobcats lose border battle to South Bend Trinity

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Despite five three-pointers Tuesday night, the visiting Brandywine Bobcats lost to South Bend Trinity, 62-52.
Trinity (13-12) grabbed a 21-15 first quarter lead, but the Bobcats roared back in the second period to take a one-point halftime lead.
Brandywine (3-14) outscored Trinity 13-6 in the second quarter to grab a 28-27 advantage heading into the locker room.
Trinity reclaimed the lead in the third quarter as it tossed in 13 points while holding the Bobcats to just 9 points.
Trinity outscored Brandywine 22-15 in final eight minutes to lock up the win.
The Bobcats were led by Caleb Frazier's 12 points. D.J. Elrod and Billy Bussey added 10 points each.
Trinity got a game-high 30 points from Luke Lattimer. Nick Scott finished with nine points.
In junior varsity action Tuesday night, the Bobcats defeated Trinity, 52-37. No individual statistics were provided.
