MHSAA announces sites for volleyball/basketball districts

NILES - The Michigan High School Athletic Association has released its pairings for the 2006 volleyball and basketball tournaments.
Dowagiac will travel to Paw Paw to compete in the Class B volleyball tournament, while St. Joseph will host the Class B basketball tournament.
Both tournaments begin in March.
Joining Dowagiac and host Paw Paw will be Sturgis, Three Rivers and Vicksburg.
Edwardsburg, Coloma, Niles and St. Joseph will head to Stevensville to take part in the Lakeshore district.
In Class C, Cassopolis will travel to White Pigeon to compete along with Constantine, Marcellus Centreville and Schoolcraft.
Buchanan and Brandywine will compete in the Bridgman district along with River Valley, Berrien Springs and Watervliew.
St. Joseph will host Dowagiac, Niles, Coloma, South Haven and Lakeshore in the basketball district.
Edwardsburg will have to travel to Sturgis to compete, along with Battle Creek Harper Creek, Battle Creek Pennfield, Three Rivers and Vicksburg.
In Class C, Cassopolis will travel to Centreville. Also competing will be Colon, Constantine, Marcellus and White Pigeon.
Bridgman will also host the basketball district with Berrien Springs, Buchanan, Brandywine, River Valley and Watervliet participating.
