NILES - A shopper of Williams Lumber &Hardware was the lucky winner of a $500 shopping spree from the store.
Verlin Williams (no relation to the owners) submitted the winning entry in the Williams Lumber &Hardware $500 Shopping Spree Sweepstakes. To qualify for the drawing, all Williams and the other entrants had to do was complete an entry form for the sweepstakes.
Five shoppers of Williams Lumber &Hardware were also the lucky winners of a $50 gift certificate from the store.
Five names were selected from a list of over 300 who had responded to a customer survey that Williams Lumber &Hardware sent out earlier this year. To qualify, all these five contestants had to do was fill out a five page survey that was either sent to them by mail or available in the store.
Winnings can be used to purchase any of the more than 1,000 items appearing in the Williams Lumber &Hardware fall catalog, which features 108 pages of a variety of home improvement merchandise.
