James E. Russell, 73, of Pleasant Drive, Baldwin Lake, Union, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 26, 2005, at 8:07 p.m. in the emergency room of Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Ind., where he was taken after a heart attack at home.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at the Shrine Club, 69185 Union Road North, Union.
Friends will be greeted for one hour before the service.
Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Reese, pastor of Hope United Methodist Church, Edwardsburg. A candlelight memorial will follow the Rev. Reese.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial of the cremains will be in Shavehead Cemetery at a later date, with military rites.
