International 6-on-6 Soccer Festival held at Southwestern Michigan College

DOWAGIAC - The fourth annual International Festival will be holding a 6-on-6 soccer tournament at Southwestern Michigan College on Sunday, Sept. 11.
The age groups are 8-10, 11-13, 14-17 and adult. Each team will consist of six players and two alternates.
Teams in the 11-13 and 8-10 divisions must be coed with a minimum of two females and two males.
Players should bring two shirts (light and dark) and must wear shinguards.
Each team must have a representative who shall collect individual registration forms and the team fee of $40 ($5 per player) and submit them to tournament director Judy Lawrence.

Checks should be made payable to the Minority Coalition of Cass County.
All teams will play a minimum of three games between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The 8-10 and 11-13 age divisions will play 12-minute halves. The older age groups will play 15-minute halves. All games will be half field.
Each age group, with the exception of the adult division, will consist of eight teams on a first-come, first-served basis. The adult league will be limited to four teams.
Team representatives will be given specific playing times on or before Sept. 4.
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each age group with the exception of the adult league which will receive T-shirts.
Flyers are available in both English and Spanish upon request.
The day will end with a full-length match between the champions of the Blossomland Soccer League and the Blossomland All-Stars.
