CENTREVILLE - The Cassopolis varsity baseball team reached the Division 4 District championship game at White Pigeon High School on Friday, June 3 before being eliminated.
The Rangers (11-16) defeated Burr Oak in the opening game, 5-2.
Jason Rietveld tossed a three-hitter with 14 strike outs. Rietveld did not walk a batter.
Spencer Hardisty had a double and three RBIs to pace the Rangers offensively.
In the title game, Cassopolis fell to Centreville, 15-4.
Josh Cole took the loss.
